Japan Women’s V.League: Hisamitsu 5 out of 5, Toray surprised Ageo

With the new, the fifth win in the Japanese v-league, Hisamitsu Spring remain undefeated.

In the new round, they crushed Hitachi in straight sets. Rika Nomoto was the top scorer with 16 points.

Neriman Ozsoy again had a fantastic display in Body Queenseis’ jersey. She scored 21 points in a 3-0 win over NEC.

Toray surprised Ageo. They celebrated their first win in the new season. Kenia Carcaces was the best player of Ageo with 21 points, while Mari Horikawa finishing the game with 20 points for the winning team.

JT Marvelous bearly defeated Denso in the tie-break. Brankica Mihajlovic and Yuko Suzuki were the leaders with 17 points while Mizuho was the top scorer of the match.

Hisamitsu Springs – Hitachi 3-0 (25-18, 25-15, 25-16); Nomoto 16, Ishii 13, Akinradewo 11(3 bl) – Minaguchi 13, Kurihara 11, Jackson 4.

NEC Red Rockets – Body Queeseis 0-3 (21-25, 23-25, 22-25); Misaki 12, Koga 11 – Ozsoy 21, Araki 10.

Toray Arrows – Ageo 3-1 (19-25, 25-23, 25-18, 25-10); Horikawa 20, Rolfzen 19 – Carcaces 21.

Denso Airybees – JT Marvelous 2-3 (25-16, 25-11, 20-25, 23-25, 11-15); Mizuho 20, Furst 19 – Mihajlovic 17, Yuka 17.
