Trentino Volley announced that Jan Kozamernik has been diagnosed with a symptomatic cervical disc herniation following medical evaluations conducted earlier this week. The condition emerged after physical issues experienced over the previous weekend.
To address the injury, Kozamernik will undergo microsurgery on Thursday, November 28, at Casa di Cura Privata Piacenza, performed by Dr. Alessandro Sacchelli. The procedure is aimed at facilitating a swift return to competitive activity.
The recovery timeline will depend on the post-operative progress but is expected to be no less than 30 days.
