Slovenian national team member and middle blocker for Italy’s Itas Trentino, Jan Kozamernik, announced on social media that he successfully underwent surgery for a cervical hernia.
“The surgery went amazing! I’m on my way home now and can’t wait to start my recovery journey,” Kozamernik shared, expressing optimism about returning to the court soon.
He extended heartfelt thanks to neurosurgeon Alessandro Sacchelli and the medical team at Casa di Cura Piacenza for their exceptional care. Kozamernik also praised Trentino Volley for their swift support, emphasizing his eagerness to rejoin the team.
