Eurotek Uyba Busto Arsizio secured a thrilling home victory over Il Bisonte Firenze to open the 10th round of the Serie A1 Tigotà season. The win marked their sixth triumph of the season and moved them to fifth place in the standings.
At the e-work Arena, Uyba started strong, taking the first set 25-17 with Malual scoring seven points. Firenze fought back in the second set, improving their attack efficiency to nearly 50% and winning 25-20. Substituting in the second set, Frosini became the game-changer, dominating the third set with seven points as Uyba took it 25-15.
Frosini continued her stellar form in the fourth set, scoring seven of eight attacks, sealing the match 3-1. Malual led as top scorer with 21 points and three blocks, while Frosini earned MVP honors with 17 points in just over two sets.
Busto’s win extended their streak to seven matches with points, climbing to 18 points in the standings. Meanwhile, Firenze struggled, sitting in 10th place, just one point ahead of Perugia.
