DÜSSELDORF, Germany — Anders Mol and Christian Sørum reclaimed their spot at the top of European beach volleyball, defeating Sweden’s David Åhman and Jonatan Hellvig in a nail-biting EuroBeachVolley 2025 final.

The Scandinavian showdown lived up to the hype, with both teams trading sets before the Norwegians pulled ahead in a tense tie-break: 1-2 (17-21, 21-16, 15-11).
“They’re so hard to beat,” said Mol. “Christian was amazing—we’re super proud.”
In the all-Dutch bronze medal match, Brouwer and van de Velde edged Boermans/de Groot in another three-set thriller to claim third place.
