”As a team we played an amazing defence and captured great number of balls that enabled us to make use of our excellent counter attacks”, said Wojtaszek.

You were unable to win in Ankara, but two victories in Plusliga must have strengthen your confidence?

”Of course it did. To be honest we played great in Ankara and showed some quality plays. Unfortunately it wasn’t enough for us to win the game but we were able to draw many positive stuff of the loss. Halkbank is scary good and for us to be on the same level with them is going to need some time. But the important thing is that our form is going in the right direction and we don’t need to be afraid as long as it’s like that.”

Jastrzebski seems to have many ups and downs in every single game, why is that?

”I’d like to know the answer to that question. We can not expect, at least not yet, to play on a high level all the time. Even better teams than us have their ups and downs, but that is normal I suppose. We practice very hard in order for those mistakes to go away and I’m sure that they will.”

As the season is going forward what do you expect from next two games against Tirol and Zaksa?

”I hope we can keep the level that is currently present and move it even more to the next one. As far as the matches go I expect to win both of them”, Wojtaszek concluded.
