Choose the best male and female player of 2018! (POLL)

by WoV

Are you ready to choose the best male and female volleyball player of 2018?

We’ve singled out the best five players, with the best achievements and results in 2018, both in men’s and women’s competition. Now, it’s up to you to choose the best one for both categories.

The rules are very simple. We will name 5 candidates (both in men’s and women’s competition) for the WoV Player Of The Year award, while you will have 10 days to give your votes for the male/female player you think was the best in 2018. The player with the highest number of votes on January 31 will be named the WoV Player Of The Year.

We are pretty much sure that many of the fans won’t be satisfied with the list but we just want to mention that we were counting on player’s performances and how many trophies they won in 2018. Of course, the most important trophy in 2018 was the World Championship…

Now, take a look at the candidates.

At least in the masculine it was to have a Brazilian. I’m not going to vote, I do not understand. Even Russell should be in Anderson’s place.

PLAYER OF THE YEAR should be for the whole year including International season. Leon should not be considered this year. The two Poles and Maxim are the frontrummers.
Anderson is so valuable to the USA success but he will be replaced as the face of the USA program by Russell and Christenson. Its time for the passing of the baton.

Re: @Suisse
The only person who is above of Leon and only for the titles he won is Maxim with the VNL and all the pro level titles that he got with Leon and Anderson help. Poles only won WCH, even if the WCH is a major tournament, where was Kurek all season long??? injured and playing garbage…… he plays well 1 game vs Brasil and he should considered the best player this year???? give me a break….. where he is now??? Onico Warzawa??? which position……. another fanboy or girl….. doesnt matter really. As for Kubiak….. he is playing in the super competitive japan League…. nothing else to say. Giba is the best example of that. I use to think that giba was the best ever, but actually he was another dude in his club, his only shine was with NT with the best brasil generation but after 3 months of NT he always back to be a normal and average player.
