He is going to play his second season in Poland so we’ve decided to check his impressions about this country.

You spent the whole season in Poland. What are your impressions?

I’m saying always that Poland is an incredible country and Gdansk is an amazing city with incredible people.  This year was a little bit different because of this virus and I spent much more time at my house.”

You will be playing the second season in Trefl. What are your expectations?

I play to win everything but at the moment it’s difficult to speak about the expectations since we’ve been training altogether for only 2 weeks… but the most important is that we have a team really hungry for wins and we have experienced players, I’m sure that we will fight every game for the win, no one will have an easy game with us.”

Have you got used to life in Poland?

The life here is really different compared to Argentina but as I said, it is an amazing country and after 2 weeks my family and I adapted perfectly, counting all aspects of life here.”

Are you missing the games with the national team?

I miss my country so much and for sure the national team also. I have all my friends there and I miss the training sessions, travels, games…

Coronavirus is making a lot of troubles to the team. Do you think that the virus can destroy the plans of some teams in important moments of the season?

It’s a difficult moment and year for us but I think that we have to be prepared for this situation. We have to accept that this year is just like the way it is. The most important is to have a body and mind prepared.

Have you fulfilled all your volleyball dreams or you are still chasing some?

“I have too many dreams in volleyball and one of them is to win one of the medals at the Olympic Games. It’s a tough task we have a big team and we are prepared for that. I played a lot of tournaments and the most important this is that I live thanks to volleyball and I enjoy every day because I love my job,” says Pablo Crer for WoV.
