Today started first of the two rounds of qualifications for 2014 World Championship in group A. Both Japan and Thailand won their matches in straight sets over Chinese Taipei and Australia respectively.
Japan
Group consists out of five teams and two top placed are going to get place at the World Championship 2014 in Italy. Qualification tournament is being held at park Arena, Komaki, Japan.

2. Thailand 1 1 0 3:0 3
3. Australia 1 0 1 0:3 0
4. C. Taipei 1 0 1 0:3 0
5. Vietnam 0 0 0 0:0 0
Round 1: Australia – Thailand 0-3, Japan – Chinese Taipei 3-0.
