”I have been waiting for really long time to get this opportunity. Playing for Zenit is indeed something special because the organization is at such a high level and team always goes for a trophy in every competition.”

He also talked about what is his main motivation to play on the highest level even when 37 years old.

”If you don’t want to win just quit. There is no point in playing if you don’t want to win badly. I would have ended my career long time ago if that feeling was gone but luckily it is not. Zenit is exactly the team that provides best chance to win and win every competition.”

Zenit had an unsuccessful season 2013/2013 since they have failed to win any trophy. This time with couple of new players and coach Alekno motivated as always, Russian giant is ready to get back on top.
