Tuomas Sammelvuo, head coach of the winning team expressed his excitement over his team’s great performance.
”We played a near perfect game. There is not any detail that I would specify that went bad. Defence was on very high level, energy also and determination and confidence to play strong in attack is what brought victory to us.
We want to thank the Kuortanella and whole community here. They support us on a daily basis and we are very happy that we could win this match not just for us but also for them.”
Finish capitain Antti Siltala also added a couple of thoughts.
”We were amazingly prepared for the opponent. Knowing all along what you want to do from the get go is more than half of victory. Our staff did a fantastic job and made our win easy.”
Teams will play tomorrow for the last, third time, this time in Sastamalassa. First match played in Kokkola went also Finland’s way 3-2.
