In the first round of the Asian Women’s Championship, Australia, South Korea, Japan, China and Taiwan have scored easy wins.

Australian girls beat Mongolia in straight sets 3:0 (25:20, 25:23, 25:18), Japan did the same with Vietnam 3:0 (25:6, 25:13, 25:16).

Combined team of South Korea smashed Myanmar 3:0 (25:7, 25:11, 25:12) while China outclassed Iran 3:0 (25:11, 25:16, 25:17).

The most spectacular match of the first round was between Taiwan and Sri Lanka. Girls from Sri Lanka took 25 points on whole match – (25:6, 25:6, 25:13).

First round’s results:

Australia – Mongolia 3:0 (25:20, 25:23, 25:18)

Philippines – India 0:3 (22:25, 24:26, 12:25)

South Korea – Myanmar 3:0 (25:7, 25:11, 25:12)

Thailand – Kazakhstan 1:3 (24:26, 24:26, 25:17, 20:25)

Sri Lanka – Taiwan 0:3 (6:25, 6:25, 13:25)

Japan – Vietnam 3:0 (25:6, 25:13, 25:16)

Indonesia – Hong Kong 3:0 (25:21, 25:21, 25:23)

Iran – China 0:3 (11:25, 16:25, 17:25)
