JPN W: Arrows powerless against Seagulls

The semifinals stage in Japanese Championship has started with two straight sets victories.

Okayama Seagulls have beaten last year’s finalists Toray Arrows. Sasaki Kimoe was the most efficient in the winner’s team with 16 points, while on the other side Miyata Yukasato was the top scorer with eight points.

Hisamitsu Springs set off quest of defending a title with an easy win over Body Queenseis. Nagaoka Nazomiyu with 14 and Shinnabe Risa with 13 led their team towards first points.

Semifinals stage, first round:

Hisamitsu Springs – Body Queenseis 3-0 (25-19, 25-19, 25-17)

Toray Arrows – Okayama Seagulls 0-3 (22-25, 17-25, 20-25)
