Vasas Óbuda, the defending champions in the women’s competition, and Pénzügyőr SE, who are also reigning champions in the men’s competition, are the winners of this year’s Hungarian Cup.

Vasas Óbuda successfully defended their title in the Women’s Hungarian Cup by securing the third match point in a thrilling five-set match against the arch-rivals Swietelsky-Békéscsaba, winning 3-2. Vasas Óbuda emerged victorious, winning the trophy for a record 15th time.
