On Tuesday, Ehlers and Wickler triumphed over the Netherlands’ Stefan Boermans and Yorick de Groot with a 2-0 (22-20, 21-15) win. Meanwhile, Ahman and Hellvig dominated Brazil’s Evandro Oliveira and Arthur Mariano with a 2-0 (21-17, 21-16) victory.
Ehlers and Wickler, the third seeds, extended their winning streak to five matches in Paris 2024, showcasing their dominance with Ehlers delivering five kill blocks and three aces. They await the outcome of Wednesday’s clash between Spain’s Pablo Herrera & Adrian Gavira and Norway’s reigning Olympic champions Anders Mol & Christian Sorum.
Top-seeded Ahman and Hellvig, known for their aggressive play, will face either Qatar’s Cherif Younousse & Ahmed Tijan or the USA’s Miles Partain & Andrew Benesh in their semifinal match.
