Mol and Sørum, Olympic champions from Tokyo and bronze medalists at the Paris Olympics, clinched their third gold of the 2024 Beach Pro Tour season, narrowly defeating Qatar’s Cherif Younousse and Ahmed Tijan in an intense tie-breaker (25-27, 21-17, 19-17). Down 13-10 in the final set, the Beach Volley Vikings mounted a stunning comeback to triumph in Brazil.

In the women’s competition, Thamela and Victoria dominated the final, defeating fellow Brazilians Talita Antunes and Taiana Lima in straight sets (21-14, 21-14), marking their first victory as a team in just their third tournament together.
