Czech coach Zdenek Smejkal “Today we crashed. The Korean team was more hungry for a victory than us, so their mentality was stronger. I am very sorry we missed a chance to win the third set.” On the Korean team, after playing four matches against them: “Korea have a strong team spirit.” On Korea’s best players[They are] Park Chulwoo and Seo Jaeduck. When their rotations change we get in trouble.”

Korea coach Park Kiwon “Speaking about technique, we were good at jump and it was possible to win because Korea team got stable.” On differences between Sunday’s match as opposed to Saturday’s match (when Korea lost 2-3 to Czech Republic)“We always analyse the opponent before a match and build strategies. Actually we did have a plan yesterday as well, but it didn’t work and today the plan was successful. Also, we reduced errors [today].”
