The 2014 edition of the Men’s BVA Cup will be played on October 4-5 in Podgorica, Montenegro. Apart from the trophy of the club competition organised annually by the Balkan Volleyball Association (BVA), there will be even more at stake since the eventual winners will proceed to the second round of the 2014 CEV Volleyball Challenge Cup – Men and play there Slovakia’s Spartak MYJAVA.

Buducnost PODGORICA (pictured) will be the hosts of the tournament that will also feature the likes of Turkey’s Maliye Milli Piyango ANKARA, Romania’s Stiinta Explorari BAIA MARE, and Greece’s PAOK THESSALONIKI. The team from Turkey’s capital city may be the strongest candidate to follow in the footsteps of last year’s winners Fenerbahce Grundig ISTANBUL who went from their participation in the BVA Cup all the way through to the finals of the CEV Volleyball Challenge Cup where they beat Italy’s Andreoli LATINA.
