Let's go 15 years back, to watch one of the best saves at the World Championship 2002.

During the second round game at the World Championship 2002 against Russia, Yumilka Ruiz made one of the best saves of the tournament. Cuba managed to take the first set, but Russia won other three sets and took the victory 3-1!

Both teams advanced to the quarterfinals, where Cuba were defeated by USA (3-0). Russia, led by Gamova, took the bronze medal, after beating China 3-1.

Yumilka Ruiz is a legendary Cuban volleyball players who won many trophies throughout her career both at international and club level. The most important ones are two golds and one bronze from the Olympic games.
