The host city and dates of the FIVB Girls Under 18 World Championship, which was held in Turkey in 2011, have been confirmed as Nakhon Ratchasima in Thailand from July 5-14 next year

The Council, chaired by FIVB executive vice-president Aleksandar Boricic, decided to introduce the Under 23 World Championships in order to provide another opportunity for age-group players to participate in an international tournament with the goal of reducing the gap between age-group and senior level volleyball. The details of the number of teams participating will be discussed on Tuesday.

Meanwhile, the 2013 calendar also featured the change of dates of the FIVB Club World Championships, which will move from October to early May with the exact dates and host city still to be confirmed, while the venues and dates of the age-group World Championships were announced as per below.
