“I want to underline the work of our captain Javier Filardi, as his experience is very important in a team made of youngsters. We played very well, we corrected many things and were able to play as a team, being coordinated in both blocking and defense, which allowed us to regain confidence. I hope tomorrow we can keep adjusting things to continue growing,” said Velasco.
Vital Heynen, Germany coach:
“What our captain says is completely true, and he’s new in that role. We were very close, but Argentina played better in all key moments of the game. I want to congratulate not only the home team but also coach Velasco for the victory.”
