The entry of a substitute Pablo Kukartsev was vital to change the course of the game for Bolívar against his former team. He scored 16 points and was the best scorer in finals. Another newcomer, Tiago Barth, added 15 points.

Federico Martina (18) and Brian Melgarejo (16) were the most efficient players in Ciudad Vóley.

Bolívar won the second trophy in the Masters Cup, which is an official preseason competition organized by the ACLAV (the Association of Clubs of Argentina Volleyball League). Since 2010, the best four teams from the last season are competing for the trophy in a single weekend.

This time, the champions UPCN San Juan Vóley didn’t play at the tournament due to their engagement at the Club World Championship in Betim, Brazil (October 27-31).

Semifinals:

Gigantes del Sur – Ciudad Vóley 0-3 (21-25, 24-26, 25-27)

Personal Bolívar – UNTREF Vóley 3-0 (26-24, 25-20, 25-19)

Third place match:
