No.8 Monteros Vóley Club have long tantalized Personal Bolívar as hosts in Game 4 of the playoff quarterfinals, and throughout entire series as well, but could not give a final blow to the top-seed Personal Bolívar. Ultimately, Bolívar prevailed by a 3-2 (23-25, 25-19, 25-18, 17-25, 15-8) and by a 3-1 in the series.
Interestingly, three of four matchups between the two sides ended with a tie-break, which says enough on the resistance which underdogs showed to the defending champions.
Théo Lopes, the Brazilian opposite from Bolívar, was the top scorer of the match with 27 points (3 kill blocks). The libero Alexis González made 83% reception (43 digs, 1 error), while Maximiliano Gauna added 4 kill blocks. Brian Melgarejo scored 16 points for Monteros.
No.3 Lomas Vóley also needed four games to eliminate No.6 Obras de San Juan. They prevailed in Game 4 by a 3-0 (25-16, 25-23, 30-28) with 17 points from Lucas Ocampo and 88% reception (24 digs, 2 errors) by Alejandro Toro. The Cuban Osmel Camejo scored 16 points for Obras. Bruno Lima made 76% reception (21 digs, 2 errors).
