Gian Luca Pasini reported in his blog that legendary Argentinean expert Julio Velasco might return to working in the club volleyball.

Julio Velasco, a two-time FIVB World Championship winner with Italy men’s national team, considers making his comeback to working on a club level after a decade (Gabeca Montichiari 2006-2008 was his last club engagement)! And his comeback would be exactly to the country where his coaching skills came to the fore – Italy.

According to Pasini, two clubs are the main candidates to have Velasco, currently at the helm of Argentina men’s national team, at their bench – Cucine Lube Civitanova and Sir Safety Conad Perugia. It will depend on how things are going from here to the end of the season for these two clubs.
