The continuous spread of the coronavirus across the globe forced Asian Volleyball Confederation (AVC) to cancel all competitions this year.

Given that the COVID-19 is still spreading at alarming speed across the world, including Asia, the AVC canceled all indoor and beach volleyball competitions at the continent in 2020. It will keep to closely follow the pandemic of the novel coronavirus on a daily basis and stay in active communication with the International Volleyball Federation (FIVB) in an effort to resume its activities and competitions as soon as possible.

The only tournaments that might have a chance to be played in Asia this year are underage tournaments. In case the situation with the coronavirus returns to normal in the next few months, underage tournaments are to be held either November or December.
