These victories set the stage for an exciting final as both teams vie for the championship and a berth in the 2024 FIVB Volleyball Challenger Cup in China, which serves as a qualifier for the expanded VNL 2025.
In other playoff matches, China defeated Vietnam to secure fifth place, and Bahrain upset Australia to finish seventh in the tournament.
