AVC Confirms Line-Up for 2026 Continental Volleyball Championships

The Asian Volleyball Confederation officially announced the teams qualified for the AVC Volleyball Continental Championships 2026.

The women’s championship will be staged in Tianjin, China, from August 21 to 30, 2026, with the host nation China leading a competitive line-up from across Asia. Meanwhile, the men’s tournament is scheduled for September 4 to 13, 2026, in Fukuoka, where Japan will welcome the continent’s top men’s teams.

Women’s Championship (Tianjin, China):
China (host), Australia, Hong Kong, China, Indonesia, Iran, Japan, Kazakhstan, Korea, Lebanon, Chinese Taipei, Thailand, Vietnam

Japan (host), Australia, Bahrain, China, India, Iran, Korea, New Zealand, Oman, Qatar, Chinese Taipei, Thailand

Beyond continental pride, both tournaments carry major global consequences. The champions will earn direct qualification for the Los Angeles 2028 Olympic Games, while the top three finishers in each competition will secure places at the FIVB World Championship 2027.
