The Local Organizing Committee, managed by H&L Partners, was unable to secure essential infrastructure, including venues, accommodations and transportation, and lacked adequate coordination with AVC, officials said.

The move was made in coordination with the Thailand Volleyball Association and Volleyball World.

AVC said shifting the event to Bangkok will ensure proper delivery of the tournament, citing Thailand’s strong track record in hosting international competitions. Further details are to be announced.
