Foton escaped from a huge 2-0 deficit in sets in playoff semifinal against underdogs and also No.4 RC Cola Air Force Raiders (RC Cola Lady Troopers) to book Superliga Grand Prix grand finale with Petron Blaze Spikers 3-2 (23-25, 23-25, 25-22, 25-15, 15-7).

Foton started the game on the wrong foot but thanks to U.S. import Ariel Usher, who delivered the crucial hits and finished with 22 points, Philippine title holders went out from marathon battle at „Ibalong Centrum for Recreation“ in Legazpi City that lasted for two hours and 37 minutes, as winners. Another import from the United States stood out, Kierra Holst collected 26 points for RC Cola.

Other semifinal between second seeded Petron Blaze Spikers and No.3 F2 Logistics Cargo Movers was also heart-stopping! And again, favorites prevailed 3-2 (25-23, 23-25, 17-25, 25-22, 15-10)!

American Stephanie Niemer highlighted Petron with 37 points and booked her team a best-of-three final duel against Foton. Game 1 is set this Thursday, December 8, in „FilOil Flying V Center“ in San Juan.
