Leyva scored 39 points, leading Sichuan to five-set win over Ba’yi 27-25, 26-24, 22-25, 23-25, 15-9 in penultimate round of Regular Season to remain top server and scorer overall in the league. Sichuan secured Top 8 earlier by claiming spot number 2 in Pool 1.
Beijing are still unbeaten with 9-0 after prevailing over Fujian in four sets. Cuban Oreal Camejo had 20 points for the winners. Interestingly, Beijing’s other import, American Taylor Sander, did not score a single point despite taking part in all four sets.

Grozer – Conte duo pushed Shanghai to straight-set win over Jiangsu. German had 19 while Argentinian added 16 points.
One spot still remained opened for Top 8. By losing to Shanghai, Jiangsu missed opportunity to secure next stage and allowed Hubei to come only one point behind by beating Hebei. In the last 10th round of Regular Season, in three days, Jiangsu will play Sichuan while Hubei will face Ba’yi.
