The luggage of the Thai Women’s Volleyball National Team, containing jerseys, shoes and knee pads, was lost at the airport in Warsaw, Poland, so the delegation of the Asian side arrived to Sendai, Japan, where they will play Week 2 of the 2017 FIVB Volleyball World Grand Prix – Group 1, practically empty-handed.
The players were forced to buy shoes in local sports stores in Japan and now wait for the entire national team sports kit to arrive from their home country. As some media reported, it is uncertain if Thai players will get it on time for their first match of Week 2 against Japan, in two days (19:00 Local Time, 12:00 CET).
What will happen then? There are two options – Thailand will lose the game vs. Japan by forfeit or the game will be postponed.
But first, let’s wait to see if the Thai NT will receive sports kit in time and wish them good luck.

Why is the Thai team so unlucky? First it was the Olympic qualification, and now this?
I bet Japanese Federation had something to do with this. They are always trying to screw over the Thai team.
