Eva-Chantava
A 27-year-old Greece national team outside hitter Eva Chantava found herself an engagement for the second part of the season. She joined an Indonesian side Bandung Bank BJB and will play country’s top division Proliga 2018.
After parting with the Brazilian club Fluminense F.C. at the end of the last season, Chantava was without a club. As she said in an interview for our website, her plan was exactly to compete in Asia this season.
Bandung Bank hired another foreigner, a 26-year-old U.S. outside hitter Jeane Horton. She recently terminated the contract with the last-placed side in the French Ligue A Féminine, VBC Chamalières.
Interestingly, most of Bandung Bank’s squad for the season will consist of the players from the defending champions Jakarta Electric PLN. To be precise, seven players!
