It was a clash of undefeated teams and the team from Belo Horizonte won the clash against Dentil/Praia Clube in five sets 3-2 (26-24, 17-25, 25-22, 23-25, 15-13).

Praia Clube are staying in the first place with an 8-1 score, while Minas is in the second place with an 8-0 score.

Gabi was the best scorer of the game with 22 points, while Fernanda Garay had 21 points on the other side. The VIVA Volei trophy went to the hands of the middle blocker from Minas, Carol Gattaz, who scored 16 points in this game.

I think we had patience in the game and we knew that the match would be decided by the details. We knew how to make everything that our technical staff has given us and we have achieved the important victory,” says Carol Gattaz.

Both teams played the game without important players. Natalia has missed the game for Minas, while Fabiana and Fran were not on the court, each of them due to injuries.

It’s sad to hear Natalia is hurt again. She was beginning to show some signs of her old self – being a dominate attacker who’s nearly unstoppable in her prime.
