Sada Cruzeiro remain the team to beat in the Brazilian Superliga! The Minas Gerais giants dropped the opening set away at Sil Vôlei Guarulhos but turned it around to win 3-1 at the Ginásio da Ponte Grande in round 2.

Guarulhos took the first set 25-22 before Filipe Ferraz’s side responded 26-24, ran away with the third 25-17 and closed it in extra points, 27-25, in the fourth (Guarulhos – Sada Cruzeiro 1-3: 25-22, 24-26, 17-25, 25-27).
Outside hitter Leal led all scorers with 21 points, every one of them in attack. For the hosts, Daniel topped the sheet with 17 points.
Cruzeiro now have 8 points from three wins in three matches (one of them a game brought forward from round 10 due to their Club World Championship commitments) and sit alone at the top. Guarulhos, who opened with a 3-1 win over Monte Carmelo, suffer their first defeat and stay on 3 points. Cruzeiro visit Norde in Fortaleza on November 10.
