Good news from Osasco! Outside hitter Mariana Brambilla will not need surgery on her injured right ankle. Osasco São Cristóvão Saúde’s medical team said on Friday that her recovery is going well enough for conservative treatment, and she is continuing with physiotherapy. Brambilla was hurt in the Superliga game against Batavo Mackenzie in Belo Horizonte, where she left the court on a stretcher. Scans showed a ligament injury in her right ankle with no fracture. The club has not given a return date.
