No mercy from the champions. Sir Susa Scai Perugia opened round 3 of the SuperLega Credem Banca with a 3-0 (25-16, 25-17, 25-22) win at Vero Volley Monza in 81 minutes. That made it four wins from four (their total includes the brought-forward round-11 match) and put them on 11 points, top of the table at least until Sunday’s games. Opposite Ferre Reggers was named MVP and led all scorers with 14 points, and Kamil Semeniuk added 13. Coach Angelo Lorenzetti’s side served Monza off the court in the first two sets. Andrea Eccheli’s very young team pushed harder in the third and stayed in touch until 20-21, before Oleh Plotnytskyi closed it out. Velichkov and Frascio had 11 each for Monza, who are still without a point after three matches.
