The adventure of the one-time world champion with Brazil National Team, Vissotto, in Taubaté came to an end. The veteran opposite hitter said goodbye to the team and the fans with a post on social media.
“It was two unforgettable years in every way. Many battles and the long-awaited Superliga trophy. Today, I say goodbye, happy for everything I experienced here. Thanks to everyone who supported me on this journey, I wish all the luck for those who continue on the project,“ the 36-year-old player posted, not saying where he’ll be continuing his career.
With Taubaté, Vissotto won the title in the Superliga in the 2018/19 season and two São Paulo championships.
The opposite hitter position will be completely reconstructed in Taubaté for the next season. In addition to Vissotto, the Moroccan Al Hachdadi left as well. They were replaced by Felipe Roque (Fiat/Minas) and Gabriel Cândido (Vôlei UM Itapetininga).
Vissotto’s jersey #1 in the club will be used in the 2020/21 by the setter Bruno Rezende “Bruninho“.
