The 2nd-seed Osasco São Cristóvão Saúde didn’t want to waste the opportunity to close the series of the 2020/21 Brazilian Women’s Superliga Banco do Brasil playoff quarterfinals against no.7 Curitiba Vôlei. The team from the São Paulo State beat rivals by a 3-1 (25-21, 16-25, 25-18, 25-19) in Game 2 and secured a place in the semifinals where it will face the winners of the series between Dentil/Praia Clube and São Paulo FC/Barueri (1-0).
Tandara Caixeta highlighted Osasco with 23 points, while Ana Beatriz Corrêa ‘Bia’ set up 4 blocks. Lays Freitas scored 20 points for Curitiba, including as many as 7 blocks. Juliana Perdigão ‘Jujú’ was amazing in reception (91 %; 22 digs, 1 error, 50 % excellent).
