VIVO MINAS now awaits his opponent in the semifinals. The game will be on Saturday. UPCN will face Club Perless, Peru in the last match of the group. If he wins, gets the second place in the group and will most probably play against the RJX, the first team from group B.

UPCN allowed the hosts good advantage early in the match. The Argentines had trouble putting the ball on the ground, and made several unforced errors. When VIVO MINAS began to impose its rhythm game, the set was easy. With good variations from setter Marcelo the hosts went to the second technical timeout eight points ahead. There was only to maintain the lead, VIVO MINAS won first set 25-13.

The UPCN came back on for the second set. The game was played point by point until the middle of the set, with UPCN went ahead. At the end UPCN won set 25:21 and equalized in sets.

The MINAS returned to the game in the third set. The Brazilians were far superior technically to the Argentines, who had great difficulty in the attack. The home team have started the set ahead, and then opened up huge advantage. The big difference in points took the excitement of the game. MINAS won the third set 25:14.

Surprisingly, Argentine team returned to the fourth set. UPCN played good while MINAS committed some silly mistakes, especially at the reception. The game was balanced until the end, but MINAS managed to win. VIVO MINAS secured the set 25:23 and match 3:1.
