Alaina Bergsma
Despite evidence pointing to the name of Kelly Murphy, prominent U.S. team member from World Gran Prix in 2013, a player who comes to the team is relatively unknown for wide auditorium.
According to Italian and Brazilian media, Alaina Bergsma will be the player that Minas promised to its fans.
Alaina is 23 years old and plays in college volleyball (NCAA), in which she defends the colors of Oregon.
In May this year, she received her first call for the U.S. senior national team, but did not participated in the World Grand Prix.
Maybe she is anonymous in the world of volleyball but those who follow the world of misses, may have seen this face on some website or magazines, as Alaina was Miss Oregon in 2012 and represented United States for the Miss Universe the same year.
