The Brazilian middle blocker and two times Olympic Champion, Thaissa Menezes was chosen by the Brazilian Olympic Committee as The Best Volleyball Player of 2013.

The 26 year old player has led Brazil to win the 2013 FIVB Volleyball Grand Prix where she was awarded as the Most Valuable Player.
This season, Thaissa plays for Molico Nestle Osasco.
On the other side coach Jose Roberto Lages Guimaraes was awarded as the Best Coach For A Team Sport (women’s volleyball).
