Cruzeiro will count on the 2016 Olympic champion and world champion in 2010, Lucas Saatkamp ‘Lucão’, in the next season.

One of the great names of the Brazil National Team is 36 years old and was the champion of the Superliga 6 times. In the 2 of those conquests, Lucão was named Best Middle Blocker of the competition – in 2008 and 2019. He can brag to have one more national title won – in Italy, with Leo Shoes PerkinElmer Modena (2016), his only experience overseas.

Last season, the Best Middle Blocker of the 2018 FIVB World Championship defended the colors of Vôlei Renata (Campinas).
