The final round of Brazil’s Superliga Men’s Volleyball had everything—thrilling wins, crushing losses, and one big playoff shake-up.

Sada Cruzeiro had already secured the top spot, but the battle for the remaining top-four seeds and the last playoff ticket turned into a night to remember. Playing with confidence in Belo Horizonte, Itambé Minas delivered a flawless performance to defeat Praia Clube 3-0, locking in second place. Just behind them, Vôlei Renata and Sesi Bauru clashed in a direct fight for third. Renata did just enough—winning the first two sets at home—to secure the spot.

But the real twist came at the bottom of the playoff race. Vedacit Guarulhos needed more than just a win—they needed help. After sweeping the already-relegated Neurologia Ativa, they had to watch and wait. Losses by Viapol/São José and Saneago Goiás opened the door, and Guarulhos walked through it, jumping from 10th to 8th in dramatic fashion.

Unfortunately, the night also brought disappointment. Apan/Roll-on, from Blumenau, was handed their fate after a straight-sets loss to Sada Cruzeiro, becoming the second team to be relegated this season.
