Gerdau Minas defeated Flor de Ypê/Paulistano/Barueri 3 sets to 1 — with set scores of 25-19, 27-25, 22-25, and 25-21 — kicking off the best-of-three quarterfinal series in the Brazilian 2024/2025 Women’s Superliga playoffs.

Celeste Plak was named Player of the Match, helping Minas secure an early series lead with a 3-1 victory. The clash highlighted a thrilling battle between opposite hitters.

Kisy Nascimento led Minas with 22 points, including 18 from attacks at a 45% success rate. On the other side, Jheovana Emanuele topped all scorers with 25 points for Barueri, hitting at 50% efficiency and contributing 4 aces and 2 blocks.
