After a rocky start to the season, Batavo Mackenzie finally celebrated its first victory in the 2025/26 Women’s Volleyball Superliga. Playing at home in Belo Horizonte swept Renasce Sorocaba 3–0, with set scores of 25-7, 25-11, and 25-13.

It was a much-needed win for Mackenzie, who had fallen to Gerdau Minas and Sesi Bauru in their opening matches. For newly promoted Sorocaba, the wait for their first win continues after another tough night.
Mackenzie dominated every stat — 39 attack points, 10 blocks, and 4 aces, committing only 10 errors. Setter Rosely Evaristo – Rose ran the show beautifully and earned the Troféu VivaVôlei as the game’s standout player.
Top scorers: Carla Santos (16), Kimberly Gomes (13), and Saraelen Lima (8) led Mackenzie, while Camilly Salomé (7) stood out for Sorocaba.
