With the win, Osasco held on to fourth place in the standings, and Tijuca remains second from bottom, still searching for consistency after recording just one victory so far this season.
American outside hitter Caitie Baird led all scorers with 17 points, including 16 kills and one ace. Middle blocker Larissa Besen earned the MVP award after contributing 12 points, matching the output of fellow middle Mayhara Francini, who was also instrumental at the net for Osasco.
