It was a clash of two undefeated teams on this tournament, but Brazil “spoiled” the derby with an outstanding performance. However, it is important to mention that both coaches decided to rest their star players.
Tandara Caixeta scored 21 points in the winning side, while Gabriela Guimaraes added 12. On the other side, Nicole Fawcett made 13 points for USA, Kristin Hildebrand collected 12.
