After concerns about her future, two teams are interested in signing the receiver.
“I still have nothing concrete but I talked to the Pinheiros and Minas. They called me and I hope that everything will be fine. It doesn’t depend only on me, it depends on them too. I hope that I will found a club this week or next week. I really want to play, I’m rooting for it” said Jaqueline.
Pinheiros and Minas confirmed for globoesporte.globo.com that they want to sign experienced receiver.
Jaqueline lives in Sao Paulo, where her husband Murilo plays for SESI-SP and he has one more year of contract. Jaque also added that she’s keeping form and can return to the court immediately:
“I’m really enjoying my family, my husband and my son. If it doesn’t work this time, I will lift my head up and move on. I’m fine physically and I’m ready to play” explained Jaque.
A bronze medalist from the last World Championship took the opportunity to mention fans, who helped Jaque to overcome the tough situation in her career:
“The people over the internet supported me and they had a campaign trough the social networks which helped me a lot to receive offers. I have a huge number of fans and I’m seeing that they want me on the court. I’m very happy.”
