Cruzeiro
Current champions of Brazil continued showing strength in its quest for the spot in the semifinals and a chance to fight for the third title.
The second match is scheduled for next Saturday (March 14) on Montes Claros’ court. Cruzeiro has the advantage of home field and so, if necessary, the third clash will be held in Riacho gym on March 16.
Cruzeiro’s opposite Wallace was the best scorer of the first game with 10 points, followed by Leal with nine.
In Montes Claros, Cléber Mineiro scored seven while the middle blocker Pedrão had six.
