Veronica was teh champion with Pinheiros, the last club that she defended in Brazil, and she lived the first experience abroad in 2011/2012 when she played for Igtisadchi in Azerbaijan. After the season she took a break because of the second pregnancy.
“I miss volleyball and I realized that I still have chance to prove myself, that I’m still young. My eldest daughter, Maria Fernanda, begins to take her first steps in volleyball. She has no recollection of seeing me playing and is overwhelmed when I say that I have played with most of the girls she sees on TV. I want to return to play for her and also for my younger daughter, Arya. My father is also a great supporter. He loves volleyball and is constantly telling me to come back. ” said 28-year-old Veronica.
